We’re thrilled to introduce a new leader on the VPO team. A technology-industry veteran and former CEO, Audrey Dunning shares her experience and expertise by mentoring our team members. As Senior Advisor, she guides us on growth strategies, and gives us recommendations on operational models.
Based in Greater Pittsburgh, Audrey brings to our team a passion for working with companies to achieve sustainable growth; deliver quality, customer- focused solutions; and create corporate cultures that thrive. As founder and CEO of AMP Growth Advisors she specializes in strategy development, driving sales and profit growth, coaching leaders to achieve their fullest potential, and advising businesses in their digital transformation journeys.
Prior to forming AMP Growth Advisors, Audrey served as CEO of Summa Technologies, a digital-solutions consulting company that combined its human-centered design, strategy, and agile software-development capabilities to power businesses and deliver engaging customer experiences. During her ten years as CEO, Summa consistently achieved double-digit annual revenue growth, and for seven consecutive years was named to the INC 5000 list of fastest-growing privately-held companies in America. As a result of Audrey’s focus on building and maintaining a strong corporate culture, Summa was widely regarded as a top employer and received numerous recognition awards from the Pittsburgh Business Times Best Places to Work, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Top Workplaces programs. In 2017 Summa was acquired by CGI (NYSE: GIB) a global information technology consulting company where Audrey served as Senior Vice President through 2018. Prior to Summa, Audrey held sales and business development leadership positions at IBM, Software AG, and Xerox Corporation.
Audrey currently serves on the Board of Directors for TriState Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: TSC) where she serves on both the Audit and Enterprise Risk committees. She has been a Director of the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland since 2015, and previously served on the board of Dollar Bank, FSB from 2016 – 2019.
Audrey is driven to make a difference and has championed multiple causes to improve the quality of life for members of our community. As CEO of Summa, she initiated Summa Cares, the company’s volunteer initiative to help people in need. She has previously served on the board of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, and is a longtime member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council, a network of women who use their energy, talent and passion to advocate for social change. Audrey has worked diligently to help further women in leadership, in particular in STEM-related fields through multiple organizations including Powerlink, Women in Technology, and RedChairPgh.
In 2016 Audrey was the recipient of the Greater Pittsburgh Athena Award, a program that recognizes exceptional leaders who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, excel in their chosen field, and devote time and energy to their community in a meaningful way. She has also been recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as a Most Admired CEO and Top Executive.
Audrey graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Business Administration. She lives in Cranberry Township, PA, with her husband Craig, and enjoys traveling, hiking, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and spending time with her adult children Connor and Cristina.
